Update 4:30 p.m. March 21: Arizona Sen. Steve Pierce's son has died from injuries received in a serious car accident in Phoenix March 18, according to Rep. Karen Fann.

Arizona Sen. Steve Pierce's son was in a serious car accident in Phoenix Wednesday evening, March 18 Steve Pierce II, a 37-year-old computer business owner from Phoenix, suffered a head injury, ruptured spleen and broken pelvis.
