AZ Rep Matt Salmon for House Speaker?

Updates from Congress
Congressman Matt Salmon
To some Arizona Republicans, House upheaval is sign of coming change

Arizona Republic - Some Arizona Republicans in Congress cheered Thursday's stunning House leadership shake-up, saying that it was evidence of conservatives' success in reforming Washington and that it could open the door for new candidates to lead the GOP majority.

Among the names being bandied about: Arizona's Rep. Matt Salmon. READ MORE

Arizona Governor Ducey: More money for our schools

By now I’m sure you’re aware of Governor Ducey’s plan to get more than $2 billion in new money to Arizona schools by increasing the distribution they receive from the state’s Land Trust account.
This plan involves NO tax increase and NO impact on the state’s general fund, and the Land Trust account will continue to grow.
Governor Ducey has been to more than a dozen Arizona public schools over the past few months, and he’s heard first-hand from parents, teachers and principals. He wants to get this money moving sooner, not later.
Arizonans are rallying behind the plan.
CLICK HERE to check out this new video and learn more.
And share with your friends and family. The more support for this plan, the better.
Thanks,
Daniel Scarpinato
Deputy Chief of Staff, Communications
Office of Arizona Governor Doug Ducey
