Former Scottsdale Councilman Bob Littlefield: I Am Running For Mayor!

Image result for bob littlefield scottsdale
Scottsdale is a special place - it is literally the best place in the Valley to live, work and visit. It is so special every one of us who lives here, in every part of the city, gladly paid a premium to do so.
What makes Scottsdale Special? Simple: high standards for design, development and code enforcement, lots of open space, unobstructed views of the stunning natural landscape, low density and a unique Western character all our own. These qualities not only make Scottsdale a great place for us to live, they also attract tourists, who heavily support our local economy.
Sadly the incumbent Mayor and his allies in the current City Council majority have a different, negative vision. Their vision is a Scottsdale of tall buildings that block our views, urban-level density that clogs our streets with traffic and stresses our infrastructure, an oversupply of apartments, and an out-of-control bar district. They have approved commercial development next to – and, if they are not stopped, even in – your Preserve. And, they are squandering your tax dollars on special-interest handouts instead of funding our city’s critical infrastructure needs.
Clearly our city desperately needs new leadership if we are to protect Scottsdale's special character. That is why I have decided to run for Mayor against the incumbent in this year's city election.
If, like me, you are outraged by how the incumbent Mayor and his allies in the current City Council majority have broken faith with the residents who elected them, I ask you to harness your outrage and take action. Help me prevent the short-sighted, parasitic "growth" and wasteful spending promoted by the current Council majority by supporting my campaign for Mayor. During my 12+ years on the City Council I proved myself as a tireless advocate for Scottsdale residents. You can be sure I will do the same as Scottsdale's Mayor!
The first thing I will need is money to counter the tens of thousands of dollars my opponents and their dark-money special-interest allies will spend attacking me. On my Contribution Page you will find information about how to contribute to my campaign by check or online via your credit card or PayPal account.
I also need volunteers to collect signatures on my nominating petitions so my name get on the ballot. Click here for details about how you can help by circulating my petitions among your friends and neighbors who are Scottsdale voters.
The third thing you can do to help is to spread the word about my positive campaign. Please talk with your family, friends and neighbors in Scottsdale who are concerned about the direction the current City Council majority is taking our beautiful city. Ask them to support me. A recommendation from a trusted friend or relative is worth far more than any mailer or robocall. Call or email your contacts to let them know why you support my candidacy, and post those reasons to your Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts. Feel free to use any of the material on my web site or Facebook page.
Help me Keep Scottsdale Special!
If you have any questions, would like more information about my campaign, or would like to help, please contact me. Thank you for your support.
