Florida Governor Jeb Bush

October 16, 2014- Today, Shawnna Bolick, Republican candidate for Arizona House
of Representatives in Legislative District 28, received the endorsement of
former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
"Shawnna is
a leader for education reform and seeks to allow greater opportunities for
children to succeed – regardless of where they attend school," stated Governor
Bush. "Shawnna will be a tremendous asset in the Arizona House of
Representatives and will serve her district well."

honored to have Governor Bush’s endorsement," exclaimed Bolick. "When Jeb was
Florida’s governor, he pioneered many common sense education reforms, including
widening parental school choice options, grading schools on a simple A through F
scale, requiring students to meet grade standards before being promoted to the
next grade level, and compensating teachers based on student performance. As
Arizona continues to be a leader in education reform, I look forward to
incubating real reforms that will attract companies as we grow a highly
competitive workforce."
Shawnna
Bolick has lived in Legislative District 28 for 13 years. Shawnna and her
husband, Clint, have two children, Ryne (12) and Kali (9), plus their six year
old rescued greyhound, Beary Goldwater.
