Tom Morrissey Endorsed By Sheriff Joe Arpaio For Maricopa County Republican Chairman (MCRC)

I am pleased to announce my endorsement for Tom Morrissey for Chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Committee.

Tom and I have known each other for over 20 years. We first met as fellow law enforcement officers, I was the newly elected Sheriff and Tom was the Chief Deputy US Marshal for Arizona. Over the years, we have worked together for the benefit of the community and the Republican party.

When Tom served as the AZGOP chairman, I saw how hard he worked and how successful he was during a very difficult and challenging presidential election cycle. He raised the money we needed for critical elections, upgraded the headquarters, and most importantly, developed relationships with minority community leaders.

While Tom had to step down for necessary knee replacement surgery, he is back and ready to work for us again. I am looking forward to working with him once again, in a leadership position in our Party.

Robert Graham Endorsed by Superintendent-Elect Diane Douglas for Second Term as AZGOP Chairman

PHOENIX –  Robert Graham, Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party first elected in January of 2013, received the endorsement of Diane Douglas, who was recently elected Arizona's Superintendent of Public Instruction. Graham is up for reelection to be decided at the meeting of the State Committee on January 24, 2015 at the Grace Community Church in Tempe.

Superintendent-Elect Douglas, who will take the oath of office and begin a four year term in January, said,
"I'm happy to support Robert Graham's reelection as chairman of the Arizona Republican Party. Robert led the Republican team on a successful Victory Tour just days after the primary election. I know that he cared about my campaign and worked tirelessly for the election of our entire state team. Robert is committed to defending conservative principles. Robert stood up for Arizona parents by joining the unanimous vote at the Republican National Committee to oppose the federal intrusion into our state education system and our local schools through Common Core and other federal controls. I appreciate his commitment to our shared values supporting options and choices for parents for their children’s education. Join me in voting to re-elect Robert Graham as our Arizona Republican Party Chairman."

Graham thanked Douglas saying, "With 1.5 million voters casting a vote for Superintendent of Public Instruction, every vote mattered in a contest decided by a 1 percent margin. Diane worked with our Victory team to travel the state, work with the slate of candidates, and to hold to her solid values and opposition to Common Core. We are lucky to have her as our Superintendent."

In a statement, Querard said: "Aaron is a man of integrity - he does what he says and he has a heart for serving those around him. Aaron is also one of the hardest working individuals I have been around, something that showed in his impressive showing in a very Democrat district. and Jeni White for Maricopa County Republican Party Leadership

Phoenix, AZ - Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio - a conservative known for leading the charge for fiscal accountability, exposing public union malfeasance, and promoting positive job-friendly solutions to Phoenix problems - has endorsed Lisa Gray and Jeni White for Maricopa County Republican Party Leadership.

They’re a phenomenal team to prepare Maricopa County for the 2016 Presidential election,” said DiCiccio.

Aaron Borders Endorsed by Steve Montenegro, Darin Mitchell and Don Shooter

hoenix - Aaron Borders announced the endorsements of Arizona House Majority Leader-elect Steve Montenegro, Representative Darin Mitchell and Senator Don Shooter. Montenegro, Mitchell and Shooter represent Legislative District 13 in the west valley.
Montenegro said: "It is with great confidence that I endorse Aaron Borders for Second Vice Chair of the Maricopa County Republican Committee. Aaron is a committed conservative, who works extremely hard to advance the principles we so strongly believe. Aaron will work well with the MCRC, the legislative districts in Maricopa County, and with the Arizona Republican Party to ensure future Republican victories in 2016 and beyond. Please join me in supporting Aaron Borders for Second Vice Chair of the MCRC."
Mitchell said: "I can think of no other person more qualified for the job of Second Vice Chair of the MCRC than Aaron Borders. When he ran for the state house in a Democratic stronghold this past cycle, Aaron proved to Republicans in Maricopa County that he would out-work anyone around him and that he would not compromise the platform of the Republican Party in order to gain a few extra votes. Being the 2nd Vice Chair of the MCRC is a thankless job and requires an individual who is committed to putting his head down and accomplishing the tasks ahead of him. Aaron Borders will do the work that is necessary for Republican victories in Maricopa County, and I hope that precinct committeemen will join me in supporting him for 2nd vice chair."
Shooter said: "Aaron Borders is a young, up-and-coming talent in the Arizona
Republican Party, and a true conservative at that. Most people would be burned out after losing a close race, but not Aaron; he is ready again to
answer the call to serve his party. We need Aaron Borders as the MCRC's
next 2nd Vice Chair"

"I am so encouraged by the trust that these three worthy leaders of Arizona have placed in me," stated Borders. "LD 13 is so fortunate to have some of the premier conservatives in Arizona, and their leadership going forward will do great things for future generations. I look forward to working with these men - and LD 13 - should I be privileged to serve as the 2nd Vice Chair of the MCRC."

Aaron Borders announces candidacy for MCRC position

Aaron Borders for 2nd Vice Chair MCRC

Phoenix - Aaron Borders announced his candidacy for 2nd Vice Chair of the Maricopa County Republican Committee. Formerly, Aaron was the Republican candidate for Arizona House of Representatives in LD 29 this past election cycle.

Upon announcing his candidacy for this position, Borders said: "One of the job responsibilities of the 2nd Vice Chair is to be the liaison between the MCRC, Republican clubs and legislative districts. With my organizational skills, I believe I am uniquely qualified to run for this position. Along with being involved in my legislative district, some of my experience includes founding and building the West Valley Youth Sports Commission, and being a former Recruiting Chair for NAIFA West Valley.

"Unlike many of the individuals running for MCRC positions, I am running independent of a slate. I feel that it could compromise my effectiveness to serve should I run as a part of a slate and should I later win the opportunity to serve the MCRC. My mission as 2nd Vice Chair will be to discover the best practices of each Republican group and legislative district in order to share it with others. I commit to you that I will work extremely hard to maintain successes within the party, that I will do what it takes to get out the vote in 2016, and that I will help recruit independent conservatives back to the party.

"All of these election metrics mean absolutely nothing without Republicans holding strong to the principles and values that our party has held for decades. I am a rule-of-law conservative. I am a social conservative, and I am a fiscal conservative. As 2nd Vice Chair of the MCRC, I will not compromise what I - nor what this party - believes in on any issue.

"Recently, I ran for the legislature in LD29, which has been long been a Democrat stronghold. Although I lost, the results were much better than many expected. My hard work in that district shows that I am unafraid to take on challenges and that I can exceed expectations for the benefit of the Republican Party. I want to thank the outgoing 2nd Vice Chairman Jose Borrajero for his service to the party. Jose was one of my biggest supporters as I ran for the LD29 House seat and I was very grateful for his support.

"The MCRC election is Saturday, January 10, 2015. I ask for your support and vote."
