Former U.S. Senator Jon Kyl Supports Mark Brnovich for Arizona Attorney General

Today, Republican candidate for Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced that former Arizona U.S. Senator Jon Kyl is supporting his candidacy in the August Republican primary.

Kyl remarked: “Mark Brnovich is principled, intelligent, and hardworking. He is a talented lawyer and accomplished prosecutor. He understands that the principles of limited government, free enterprise, individual liberty, and the rule of law are the cornerstones of our Republic. I firmly support his candidacy.”

Jon Kyl is a former Arizona U.S. Senator and the former Senate Minority Whip. Time magazine recognized Kyl as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and he was ranked as the fourth-most conservative U.S. Senator by National Journal in 2007.

“It would be unfortunate if this office fell into the hands of an Obama ally because we failed to nominate a candidate who can win,” said Kyl.

Kyl concluded: “Elections have consequences and we need to ensure the best possible ones for Arizona.”

Mark Brnovich added: “Jon Kyl has been a great conservative leader for Arizona and our country for more than two decades. His support means so much to me and it is a reflection of the growing and broad support from Republicans and Independents our campaign continues to receive. The momentum has tipped in our favor.”

Senator Kyl joins other conservative Arizona leaders including Congressman Trent Franks, Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery, Len Munsil, Representatives Paul Boyer, Debbie Lesko, T.J. Shope and Brenda Barton, Chandler Councilman Jeff Weninger, Coolidge Mayor Tom Shope, former State Treasurer Dean Martin, former Senators Linda Gray, Barbara Leff and Frank Antenori, and more than 25 Republican grassroots and elected party officials in endorsing Mark Brnovich for Attorney General.

Many are beginning to recognize that Tom Horne can’t win the general election. As Senator Kyl said: “It would be unfortunate if this office fell into the hands of an Obama ally because we failed to nominate a candidate who can win.”

Will you please join Senator Kyl and help me get my message out to Arizona voters by donating to my campaign today?

Senator Kyl reminds us: “Elections have consequences and we need to ensure the best possible ones for Arizona.”

Please help make sure the Attorney General's office stays Republican this November by supporting my campaign.

Any amount helps. Your donation of $25, $50, or $100 will go a long way to help us spread the word.

Brenda Barton AZ Representative Great work being done!

Great News!  My Water Development bill, my Forest Protection bill and the bill to restore HURF road funds, all passed with near unanimous support! Why? Because they are good for Arizona!

My Forest Health bill will establish establish funding to the state forester to provide grants and matching funds for cities and counties for forest treatment on Arizona lands. This bill would help us clean up the State Trust land with the help of the state forester.

Working with Congressman Gosar, we are putting our lands first. A lot of great work is being done but there is still much to do for rural Arizona.

Just this week, the Arizona State House passed HB2691 that funds DPS at adequate levels to allow HURF funding to be used by local governments. This issue positively affects rural Arizonans in a big way and I am proud to have been a prime sponsor on the bill.

My Water Development legislation appropriates funding from the State General Fund to the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) for the purposes of funding water supply projects. These monies will be available to cities, counties, towns or other water providers at favorable terms up to 50 years for the undertaking of water supply projects.

All of these bills passed with near unanimous support because they are pragmatic and commonsense solutions for Arizona!

I am working hard for you and I need your support in my re-election effort to continue serving you in the Arizona Legislature.  Contributions will help keep me working for you!

Please consider donating $5, $10 or $20 to help us reach our fundraising goal for the first quarter!

Thanks,
Brenda

Fight Obamacare Elect ANDY Tobin Arizona's US Congressman

By now you know where I stand on ObamaCare. Unfortunately, Ann Kirkpatrick has no idea where she stands. Just last week she voted against delaying ObamaCare in Arizona because Nancy Pelosi told her to.

We’re working very hard to build our network of supporters in this huge district. We picked up two more county supervisors on our team today. I’m thrilled for the support. See what Supervisors Angius and Watson from Mohave County think about my record:

“Tobin is a proven conservative who understands Arizona and its complexities. He will fight for his constituents by bringing solutions, not problems, to the table. Those of us in Arizona need an advocate like Andy Tobin. Please join me in standing with him today.”
~ Mohave County Board of Supervisors Chairman Gary Watson

“Andy voted against ObamaCare and led the fight to pass the first Healthcare Freedom of Choice Act in the nation. He never wavered, even when the fight got messy. A small businessman himself, Andy is the only person in this race that has worked tirelessly to make rural Arizona a place for small businesses to grow and flourish by balancing Arizona’s budget and cutting taxes; giving taxpayers and job creators more money in their pockets. This is why I am endorsing Speaker Andy Tobin for U.S. Congress in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District."
~ Mohave County Supervisor Hildy Angius

Help us send a clear message to Kirkpatrick and Pelosi that Arizona will not be fooled. Please click the donate button below to send $5, $9, $17 or $185.

I will represent you faithfully in Congress and continue to fight for Arizona solutions in Washington. But we need your help!

Thank You!

Arizona Congressman Trent Franks And Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio Endorse Doug Ducey For Governor

You’ve probably heard Doug Ducey say that one of the top lessons he took from his private sector career is the importance of building coalitions. As he often says, “If I’m only hearing one side of the story, I’m not doing my job.”
The Ducey 2014 team takes that lesson to heart. Nowhere is that better illustrated than today’s announcement of endorsements from both Congressman Trent Franks and Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio.
Each brings a unique perspective to the governor's race. Councilman DiCiccio has won over even the Arizona Republic in his fight for pension reform and defense of taxpayer dollars at the city level. Rep. Franks is a broad-spectrum conservative, staunch advocate of school choice and longtime West Valley leader.
The fact that both of these esteemed leaders have publicly endorsed Doug is testament to his leadership and ability to build strong and diverse coalitions. They join an impressive alliance already uniting to support Doug’s campaign for governor, including former Sen. Jon Kyl, former U.S. Rep. John Shadegg, Montgomery County Attorney Bill Montgomery, former Governor Fife Symington, the Honorable Robert Fannin and many others. And his support will only continue to grow.
I’m proud to support a candidate who doesn’t rush to judgment and takes the time to hear all sides of an issue before making an informed decision. His coalition of supporters reflects his intent to lead Arizona that same way.
Respectfully,

Anson Clarkson

Former Arizona Senate Majority Whip Frank Antenori endorses Mark Brnovich for AZ Attorney General

Today, Republican candidate for Attorney General Mark Brnovich received the endorsement of Retired Army Special Forces Combat Veteran, former Tucson State Senator and Senate Majority Whip Frank Antenori.

“With the Obama Administration’s open hostility towards Arizona and their constant attack on our values, the need for a strong State Attorney General to defend us from these attacks is more important than ever. As a conservative leader and resident of Southern Arizona, I have no doubt Mark Brnovich has what it takes to be that Attorney General. That’s why I’m supporting and endorsing Mark Brnovich. We need an Attorney General with both the integrity and moral conscience to represent and defend our state,” Antenori said.

Former Senator Antenori served as Vice Chairman of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and was elected by his peers to serve as the Senate Majority Whip. Antenori is a Green Beret who served in the military for 20 years before moving to Tucson where he now works in the aerospace defense industry.

“Frank has an accomplished track record of service and dedication to our country. His military service, along with his time serving in the state legislature, is greatly appreciated. His support is a clear indication of the growing momentum we are building in Southern Arizona. I’m very proud to have a conservative such as Frank supporting my campaign,” Brnovich said.

Former State Senator Antenori joins U.S. Representative Trent Franks, Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery, Representatives Brenda Barton, Debbie Lesko, Paul Boyer, and T.J. Shope, former State Senators Linda Gray and Barbara Leff, Arizona Christian University President Len Munsil, former State Treasurer Dean Martin, Coolidge Mayor Tom Shope, Chandler City Councilman Jeff Weninger and national and local conservative leaders like David McIntosh, Shane Wikfors, and Jennifer Wright in endorsing Mark Brnovich for Arizona Attorney General.
