Leading Arizona Business Groups Endorse Mark Brnovich for Arizona AG

Leading Arizona Business Groups Endorse Mark Brnovich for AG
Arizona Chamber of Commerce and NFIB: Brnovich best bet to fight for Arizona

Today, the Mark Brnovich for Attorney General campaign is proud to be endorsed by two of Arizona’s largest and most premier business organizations: the Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Arizona chapter of the National Federal of Independent Business (NFIB).

The significant show of business support is further evidence that leading Arizona employers believe Brnovich is the best choice to keep Arizona communities safe, fight federal overreach by the Obama administration and prosecute identity thieves, scam artists and others who target consumers and legitimate businesses alike. Brnovich is the only candidate in this race with extensive, frontline experience prosecuting and taking to trial both civil and criminal cases, including violent felonies.

“I am humbled and honored to receive the formal endorsements of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and National Federation of Independent Business,” Brnovich said. “I know private enterprise is the beating heart of our economy and, as Attorney General, I will fight tirelessly to ensure Arizona is a safe place for families to grow and businesses to thrive. I will push back against federal overregulation that threatens our economy and way of life, and aggressively prosecute criminals and scam artists who prey upon Arizona citizens, consumers and business owners.”

The Arizona Chamber of Commerce endorsed Brnovich following a rigorous interview process; Chamber endorsees must receive the backing of at least 65% of the Board membership, via a secret-ballot vote.

“Arizona needs an attorney general who will work to ensure that we have a regulatory and legal environment where business can thrive,” said Glenn Hamer, president and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “That includes standing strong for Arizona when federal regulations could harm our state, especially from agencies like the EPA, whose overreach could have a devastating effect on Arizona’s economy if left unchecked. Mark Brnovich is the leader we need to be our next attorney general. He has the experience and know-how to lead the office, and the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry is proud to endorse him.”

Just as impressive, Arizona’s leading advocacy group for small business – the NFIB – voted overwhelmingly to endorse Brnovich. This is the first time in more than a decade that the 7,000 Arizona small-business owners who comprise the NFIB have chosen to endorse a candidate for Attorney General. Among NFIB members who voted, 89 percent support Brnovich; just 11 percent chose his opponent.

“Arizona’s job creators trust Mark Brnovich to enforce the law and protect our communities,” said Farrell Quinlan, Arizona state director for the NFIB. “Arizona’s entrepreneurs are confident Mark Brnovich will foster a safe and secure environment and ensure a level playing field so our small businesses can thrive. As Arizona’s next Attorney General, Mark Brnovich will provide solid legal advice to state regulatory agencies in order to prevent overreach, regulatory bullying of small business owners and to ensure state agencies aren’t acting on bad or inaccurate legal advice.”

The formal endorsement was issued by the NFIB/Arizona Save America’s Free Enterprise (SAFE) Trust, the political action committee of NFIB members in Arizona.

I Need Your Help: Mark Brnovich AZ Candidate for AG

With the primary behind us and early voting now less than a month away, our campaign for Attorney General is entering the final stretch. Polls show us with a slight lead, but the unique circumstances of this race have left us with a challenge that I need your help to solve!

You see, while we were busy with our primary my liberal opponent skated to the Democrat nomination unopposed. With no primary to worry about, she has had three years to stockpile special interest money for the general election. Her campaign finance reports read like a who's who of Left Wing PAC's, Democrat power brokers, and Union Bosses -- enabling her to enter the general election campaign with over $1 million in the bank.

That's a lot of money... but we're still in a better position to win. Arizona is a Republican state; 2014 is a Republican year; and polling shows us leading by four points.

We like how we're positioned... but we need to get up with TV ads ASAP if we're going to hold our lead. That's why I need your help... and why I need it today!

Your support today will help us take our message to the voters, hold our lead, and ensure that Arizona has a principled, conservative Attorney General for the next four years.

Can you help us?

With thanks for your consideration,

Mark Brnovich

Bob Littlefield: Election Results

First, I want to thank you all for your support and help in my campaign for State Representative. Unfortunately, I did not win.

The theme of my campaign was that citizens want government that is less ideological and more pragmatic. They want government that delivers the services they need (such as public safety and education), while keeping their taxes low by delivering those services efficiently and not wasting tax dollars on unnecessary spending such as special interest subsidies.  Unfortunately, in what came to be a low turnout election, ideology trumped pragmatism.

My other challenge was that, while I ran a positive campaign, my opponents and their supporters did not return that favor. For instance, they spent a lot of dark money on hit piece mailers that I simply did not have the money to counteract. They used this tactic against a number of legislative candidates around the state and, again, in a low turnout election negative campaigning worked.

So, I will reflect on the lessons of this campaign to learn how I can do a better job of communicating my message to voters and of motivating them to turn out to vote to support that message.

On the bright side, my wife Kathy advanced to the November General Election for Scottsdale City Council. She would be a positive voice for the residents of Scottsdale and I encourage you to support her campaign. You can find out how on her web site at www.kathylittlefield.com.
Again, thank you for your support.

Current SOS Ken Bennett and Former Mayor Scott Smith Endorse my campaign

I am honored to announce two Primary gubernatorial candidates, Ken Bennett and Scott Smith, have endorsed my campaign for Secretary of State.  Both are principled and honorable elected officials who have demonstrated an ability to work through partisan gridlock to find workable, reasonable solutions for their constituents.  Arizona voters and leaders are rallying around my campaign as we continue to build on the momentum that carried us through the Primary election.

Sincerely,

“As I said along the campaign trail, experience matters.  With twelve years in the Arizona legislature, chairwoman of the Senate Elections and House Commerce committees, and a former small business owner, Michele Reagan has the right experience to become Arizona’s next Secretary of State.  She is qualified, dedicated and has a unique understanding of Arizona’s business and election law.  As your current Secretary of State, I am proud to endorse Michele Reagan for this position.”
- Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett

“I am proud to endorse Michele Reagan for Arizona Secretary of State. Michele is a proven reformer who has worked extensively on election issues during her tenure at the State Capitol.  If you believe open and honest elections are in Arizona’s best interests, then I encourage you to join me in supporting the most qualified candidate for Arizona Secretary of State, Michele Reagan.”

- Former Mesa Mayor Scott Smith

Andy Tobin-good news, bad news

I have some exciting news. A new poll came out yesterday showing us AHEAD of Ann Kirkpatrick!

But here's the bad news. Nancy Pelosi and her liberal allies know about the poll too. They've already committed more than $3,000,000 to lie about my record.

They're scrambling at this very minute to dump their war chest into Arizona. I need you to chip in whatever you can to help us fight back.

Nancy Pelosi knows that, if we win, she’ll lose a reliable vote for her and Obama’s big government, liberal agenda.

She knows that our message of small government is more popular in Arizona than Ann Kirkpatrick’s message of wasteful spending.

Nancy Pelosi won’t go down without a fight, but neither will we. That’s why your contribution of $100, $50, or even $25 RIGHT NOW is so urgent to help us fight back.

This poll is good news, but remember: Nancy Pelosi saw it too. By the time you’ve read this, she’s already started planning her attack.

It’s going to be rough. I need to know you’re standing with me.

Thank you for your support,

- Andy Tobin

Not again

Take it from someone who’s been through it – Nancy Pelosi will do anything to reelect Ann Kirkpatrick.

In the last election, Nancy Pelosi, and her liberal allies, spent MILLIONS attacking me.

Now they’re doing the same thing to my good friend Andy Tobin. In fact, they’re prepared to spend even more.

We need Andy’s grassroots supporters like you to step up and contribute $100, $50, or even $25 dollars to fight back today.

You and I both know liberal tax and spend policies are wrong for Arizona, but with Nancy bankrolling Ann Kirkpatrick, it might be too late.

Can I count on you to stand with me and support Andy with a donation of $100, $50, or $25 today?

In 2012, we came up short; but it’s so, so important Andy win this election!

I know you’ve done a lot for him already, but he needs our help more than ever!

Please join me in contributing to Andy NOW. Pelosi’s attacking him at this very moment.

Your friend,

Jonathan
