From Chuck Glardis: ATTENTION ARIZONA STATE COMMITTEEMEN AND WOMEN

I am going to attempt to answer Chuck, Nothing has happened to Frosty she is still doing the briefs independent of any affiliation with MCRC. She resigned last year. Tyler wanted his friend Jake Hoffman to be Communications Director and that was OK with Frosty. She was anxious to branch out. As far as the below photograph, when you are well known a lot of people stop to talk with you, it doesn't mean you are in cahoots but you are being polite. be

Subject: Fw: ATTENTION STATE COMMITTEEMEN AND WOMEN
Before you Read any More Briefs
What has happened to Frosty Taylor? This once-kind grassroots leader who used her "neutral" Briefs page to inform people of the news and gossip around town, has morphed into an assassin at the beck and call of the trigger-happy AJ La Faro. Is Frosty angry that the AZ GOP has its own communications infrastructure and email lists? Has she been promised a communications position in a future La Faro administration? One can only speculate about motivations, but it is clear that Taylor is sowing division and is not interested in telling both sides of any story.
Looks like we need some Boxers to go with those Briefs.
The Briefs hasn't even feigned objectivity when it comes to attacks on Robert Graham at the AZGOP, publishing whatever anonymous attacks that ambitious party power seekers have sent to her.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Here is a picture of Frosty this Saturday at the Maricopa County Meeting receiving her instruction from her boss, La Faro. What a shame to see a useful source turned into a mouthpiece for a crybaby.
But there's more.
The errors and misinformation found on the site is amazing. As she declared last year that she was the MCRC Communications Chairman, you'd think representing more than 700,000 Republicans would be important enough to get things right.
Someone tell Jake Hoffman, the county GOP Director of Communications, that he's not in charge. (And the way La Faro essentially ran the meeting Saturday, it looks like County GOP Chairman Tyler Bowyer's not in charge either.)
Many have closed the book on the Briefs, and rightly so. Here's to hoping Republicans can find news sources (any takers?) that will keep them up to date on everything from the day to day campaigns and candidate activity to news and announcements that help, not hurt, our chances to beat the tar out of the Democrats in November.

AZGOP State Committeemen Are Planning A Censure Resolution For AZGOP Chairman Graham

This will be brought up from the floor at this Saturday’s State Party meeting or at least an attempt is being made to collect the signatures.
It will take 320 state committeemen signatures from at least four (4) counties are required to take the resolutions to the floor. As usual the jackanape is AJ LaFaro who thrives on creating chaos and divisiveness with the AZGOP. This group seems determined to have the AZGOP go the way of the Whigs. The scuttlebut from a former high ranking Republican "you ain't seen nothing yet" look for a major blowup at Saturday's meeting and the rest of the year.
Via MCRC Briefs and Sonoran Alliance
AZGOP State Committeemen’s Resolution To
Censure Chairman Robert Graham
We, the State Committeemen of the Arizona Republican Party (AZGOP), from which Chairman Robert Graham was elected, are obligated to hold all of our leaders accountable for their actions. Only in times of great crisis or betrayal is it necessary to publicly censure our leaders. Today we are faced with both in as much Robert Graham is by far one of the worst Party Chairman the AZGOP has ever endured.  So with conviction we rise and declare:
WHEREAS, Chairman Robert Graham
·       has continued to violate the Arizona Revised Statutes, the Bylaws of the Arizona Republican Party and several of the County and Legislative District Republican Committees; and
·       has repeatedly disregarded and disrespected the will of an overwhelming majority of the AZGOP State and Precinct Committeemen; and
·       has conducted dictatorial actions that have been a calculated and insidious conspiracy to purge grassroots and conservative Republicans from the AZGOP for his personal benefit, the benefit of his cronies and the Republican establishment cabal.
  • BE IT RESOLVED that Robert Graham’s constant intimidation, bullying, overreach and unilateral policies will no longer be tolerated;
  • BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the AZGOP State Committeemen have lost confidence in Robert Graham and will no longer support him or his actions;
  • BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED the AZGOP State Committeemen censures Robert Graham for his continued disservice to our Party, State and Nation.

FYI: Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman Is A Trainer for Turning Point USA

As the chairman for MCRC it seems that Tyler Bowyer should be training PC’S according to the MCRC Bylaws other than training Turning Point USA on activism and registering voters.
It also seems that he practicing the activism on Maricopa County Republican Committee from the last meeting that was conducted.

In May of THIS year, a conference advertised as LPEX (LIBERTARIAN POLITICAL EXPO) was held in Nevada. It was surprising to learn that our REPUBLICAN County Chairman was listed as a “TRAINER” at this expo. (http://lpex.org/training/trainers)

Will The AZGOP State Commiteeman Meeting Be Another Donnybrook? Meeting Notice and Agenda

From all indications it looks to be another meeting created in Hell if the Maricopa County Republican Committee (tongue in cheek) leadership follows through with disrupting the meeting. Meeting at Grace Community Chuch,Registration at 8:00AM

The MCRC Bylaws are very specific as to the MCRC duties and it doesn't include resolutions or votes of no confidence or create negativity at every meeting. Nor does it include supporting or endorsing a particular candidate.
at 6:45 am Sat., Jan 23 to gather petition signatures necessary to take the “Anyone BUT John McCain” resolution and a “Censure AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham” resolution ( See briefs for both full resolutions)  to the floor during the AZGOP State Committeeman Mandatory meeting scheduled at the Grace Community Church, 1200 East Southern Avenue, Tempe, AZ  85282. Petitions will be gathered in the parking lot prior to the opening of the meeting.  320 state committeemen signatures from at least four (4) counties are required to take the resolutions to the floor.  For signature forms or more information contact State Committeeman AJ LaFaro, LD18 PC at 480-752-9164  or aj_ml@hotmail.com
Tidbits from the Jan 16 MCRC Mandatory meeting:  Some folks  are wondering how AZGOP Robert Graham will react if MCRC Chairman Tyler Bowyer pops in and nominates candidates from the floor for Graham’s officer elections next Saturday… like Graham did to Bowyer at the county meeting last Saturday.

Scottsdale City Councilman Virginia Korte Announces Campaign for Reelection

t
Virginia Korte is a leader, educator and community activist. During her first term on the Scottsdale City Council she worked to make government more responsive. She continues to champion Scottsdale's quality of life.

Virginia Korte, life-long Valley resident and career-long advocate for a better Scottsdale, announced today that she will seek another term on the Scottsdale City Council.

“I am proud of what we accomplished during my first term on City Council, but there is so much more that must get done for our community” the veteran leader said.

“Over the past four years, Scottsdale has made significant strides in ensuring that our roads are safe and the necessities that allow our city to be great are nurtured and protected,” Korte says. “At the council’s insistence, city staff reduced staffing levels by 13 percent, or 377 employees, eliminated unnecessary services, consolidated work spaces, and sold unneeded buildings.”

Korte said her goals during a second term are to sustain the qualities that make Scottsdale a great place to do business and create jobs, while ensuring that all residents have an opportunity to benefit from those amenities and participate in creating a great city. Korte also knows education is a critical tool for economic development and to enhance Scottsdale’s future. Korte chaired the 2014 successful “Yes to Children” campaign to renew Scottsdale Unified School District’s budget override and remains an advocate for Scottsdale’s schools.

Korte hails from a family that is tightly woven into the fabric of a city that ranks among the best places to live in the world.

She is a graduate of Xavier College Prep and Northern Arizona University, where she earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology. After helping to manage her family’s car dealership, Ray Korte Chevrolet in Southern Scottsdale, she became a professor of biology at Scottsdale Community College where she developed and managed the Center for Native and Urban Wildlife.
She was a board member, then President and CEO, of the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce, from 1996 to 2003. Additionally, she served as President and CEO of Scottsdale Training and Rehabilitation Services (STARS), Scottsdale’s premier provider of programs and employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.

Enhancing the quality of life and nurturing the city’s economic sustainability are her highest priorities. “Our downtown has become a center of employment,” she said. “In addition, Southern Scottsdale and the McDowell Road Corridor are finally experiencing a rebirth of economic vitality. The private sector has taken the lead in initiating the revitalization of McDowell Road, and I believe we have a solid start with new investments and marketing initiatives.”

Please consider supporting Korte through contributions and volunteering.  You can click on the donate button below, or go to www.kortescottsdale.com to learn more.

Assistant Secretary AZGOP

Dear County - District Chairs & State Committeemen/women; I am pleased to announce that I am running for re-election as Assistant Secretary for the AZ GOP. I have worked diligently for the Republican Party my entire life, never wavering from my conservative Republican principles, convictions and dedication to the party. I have logged numerous hours working to register Republicans at various venues throughout Arizona, walking Precincts for candidates, issues, and fund raising; as well as, supporting the party statewide at numerous clubs, organizations and funding raising events. I believe I can continue to bring a steady, strong, trusted voice to the leadership of our party as we go forward in recapturing the White House and Congress in 2016. It is my desire to unite all Arizona Republicans as we work toward victories using the State and National Party Platforms as our guides. Therefore, I am asking for your support and your vote at the January 23, 2016 annual State Republican mandatory meeting in Tempe. Thank you for your time and consideration,
Deborrah Miller

Arizona Senator John McCain: Tell me what you think

JohnMcCain.com
You've heard a lot of political talk this week -- from the President's weak State of the Union address, to the GOP presidential candidates outlining out their plans for the country.

But, who I really need to hear from right now is YOU.

Tell me: what is the most important issue to you in 2016? Please pick your top choice below:

                Healthcare                        Homeland Security
         Native Americans                          Technology
                  Economy                                     Veterans
              Agriculture                    Defense & Natl Security
                 Education                               Environment
           Foreign Affairs                           Gun Control
     Government Spending                      Immigration

I will continue to fight Obama's failed policies, but I can't do it without you. What do you think is the most critical issue facing our state and nation?

Thanks,

John McCain
