ICYMI:LAW ENFORCEMENT SUPPORTS TOBIN

The support for Andy Tobin’s Congressional Campaign within the Arizona law enforcement community has tremendous support and continues to gain momentum.

Four Sheriffs from Arizona’s First Congressional District have announced their endorsement of Tobin, citing his proven leadership in fighting to secure the border and supporting policies to keep Arizonans safe.

Sheriffs Allred, Sheahan, Richards and Mascher join Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, who endorsed the campaign in October. Additionally, Tobin’s congressional campaign received endorsements from The Arizona Police Association and The Phoenix Law Enforcement Association.

"I am pleased to join my fellow sheriffs in supporting Andy Tobin for Congress,” said Graham County Sheriff P.J. Allred. “It's important to have a proven fighter for rural Arizona law enforcement in Washington. That is why I am endorsing him for United States Congress in my district.”

“Andy Tobin has been a leader in Arizona State government for years,” said Mohave County Sheriff Tom Sheahan. “I am fully supporting Andy in his bid to become a member of the United States Congress. Andy Tobin will bring that energetic leadership to congress that is presently lacking, especially in the 1st Congressional District of Arizona. Andy will make an excellent congressman.”

“I have known Speaker Tobin for many years,” said Retired Coconino County Sheriff Joe Richards (1960-2004). “As Sheriff of Coconino County for more than 40 years, I am very familiar with the concerns and needs of rural Arizonans. I have followed Andy’s entire legislative career, and I am wholeheartedly convinced that he will faithfully represent the needs of Coconino County residents and all rural Arizonans in Washington. It is for these reasons that I am endorsing Andy Tobin for Congress.”

“As a law enforcement professional, I believe Andy Tobin understands the challenges we face daily and supports our objectives,” said Yavapai County Sheriff Scott Mascher. “Andy Tobin has been a consistent advocate for the law enforcement issues faced in Arizona. I am pleased to endorse his campaign.”

Arizona’s Education Champion-Kate Brophy McGee

As a former School Board Member, I know our children are our most important resource.  We must ensure they have an excellent education that prepares them for college and careers.

We are on track for a strong economic recovery, but we must continue our commitment to fiscal stability and growing our economy, while prioritizing education.  As your state representative, I support:

·       Parents’ right to choose the best educational setting for their child
·       Rigorous standards and accurate measurements of student success
·       Quality teachers with the tools they need to teach our students
·       Responsibly directing more dollars into the classroom

Arizona’s education system has received much deserved criticism, but with the right leadership we can give Arizona students the education they deserve.

Sincerely,

Rep. Kate Brophy McGee

Chandler leaders support Andrew Walter

I'm very grateful and humbled to have the support of so many leaders in Chandler.  Our campaign is continuing to gain momentum and earning the support of these proven leaders is another step toward victory.  See what they have to say about our campaign and the future of Arizona's Ninth District:

Mayor Jay Tibshraeny

"I am excited to announce my support and endorsement of Andrew Walter for Arizona's Ninth Congressional District.  As a mayor and as a former state legislator, I reserve my endorsement to candidates that will stand up for fiscal responsibility. American families face financial challenges each day and find a way to live within their means.  It's time government did the same.  Andrew supports a Balanced Budget Amendment which will ensure the government plays by the same rules as hard working Arizonans.  I know Andrew will bring bold, new leadership to Washington to create jobs, reduce spending, and restore accountability."

Councilman Kevin Hartke

"I am endorsing Andrew Walter because I believe his faith and strength of character are what we need in Washington.  As a pastor, I have a sincere respect for Andrew's commitment to faith and his service to others.  We need leaders, like Andrew, with strong character and a record of service to the community now more than ever."

Councilman Jeff Weninger

"I am proud to endorse and support Andrew Walter.  As the owner of five restaurants, I'm certain Andrew understands what it takes to enable small businesses to grow and create jobs. Andrew has a solid background as an entrepreneur and small business owner who has helped grow our economy. Please join me and vote for Andrew.  He is the right choice for Arizona's ninth congressional district."

Sincerely,

Andrew Walter
