Mark Brnovich Candidate For AZ AG Mark Madness is almost done!

Before March Madness began, I wrote to you with an end of tournament fundraising goal and invited you to help celebrate “Mark Madness” by donating a few dollars to my campaign.

We’ve moved out of the month of March and only four teams remain in the NCAA tournament. My bracket is busted but the fundraising continues!

Thanks to supporters like you, we’ve almost met our goal for Mark Madness, but we still have $1,000 to go.  Will you take a minute and help right now? We only need a few more people to donate what they can in order to meet our goal for the tournament period and continue spreading the message of restoring integrity to the Arizona Attorney General’s office.

Will you help me reach our goal by donating $8, $16, $32, $64 or more to the campaign?

Every dollar donated will directly benefit my campaign.

In Victory,

-Mark

Doug Ducey Candidate For AZ Governor: An ice cream scooper's story

One of the things that I’m most proud of from my time leading Cold Stone Creamery was the opportunity to work with such creative, strong and successful individuals.
Today, I’d like to introduce you to Jordan Levine, a former area developer who started with Cold Stone Creamery by working behind the counter during high school.
His story is one of incredible success, but it’s not unique. There are dozens of stories just like his throughout Cold Stone Creamery’s ranks, past and present. I hope you enjoy his story.
Sincerely,
Doug
Q&A with Jordan Levine
Q: Tell me about your Cold Stone Creamery career.
A: I started at Cold Stone Creamery as a part-time employee during high school serving behind the ice cream counter. I moved to Arizona to be an intern at Cold Stone Creamery and stayed involved with the company throughout college. After I graduated I was given a tremendous amount of responsibility because of the opportunities I was given during my internship. Doug put his faith in me and I was selected to plan and implement Cold Stone’s expansion on the East Coast as an area developer.
Q: How did you meet Doug?
A: I met Doug when I was 16-years-old working in a Cold Stone Creamery location in California. We exchanged email addresses and were in constant communication until I graduated high school. That’s when he asked me to move to Arizona and work for Cold Stone during college.
Q: What is most striking to you about Doug’s leadership style?
A: Doug’s strong sense of ethics is most striking to me. Doug taught me all that I know about how to accomplish all my professional goals while keeping my ethics in tact. The values Doug taught us all along the way are values most of us still hold close to our hearts.  Many companies talk about values, but Cold Stone Creamery's glory days under Doug really embodied them.
Q: What is the most important lesson you’ve taken from working at Cold Stone?
A: Always keep an open mind. From the beginning, Doug gave me opportunities and opened doors. I mean, I started as a 16-year-old part-time scooper that was communicating with the CEO and he really listened and wanted to hear my thoughts. He gave me a chance and I was successful.
Q: What is the most important lesson you learned from Doug?
A: Working at Cold Stone Creamery for Doug I learned the value of hard work and that you need to work hard to succeed. Doug worked harder than any of us and expected us to emulate him.  Everyone did whatever it took to move the organization forward in a positive direction. Doug has knack for finding the right people who can achieve results ethically and know that how you achieve success is just as important as the end result.
Q: Why do you think Doug is the best choice for Arizona’s next governor?
A: Years later, I am still proud of all the accomplishments we achieved at Cold Stone Creamery under Doug's leadership. Doug laid a foundation for success and because of his leadership the company expanded and flourished.  I know he will work just as hard for Arizona and achieve the same results. His ethical mindset and conservative mentality will put Arizona on track and lead us into the future.

Scott Smith AZ Candidate For Governor:What is important to you?

Scott Smith for Governor 2014
Arizona is a place unlike any other. Our beautiful vistas, incredible climate and western spirit are world famous. I was born in Tucson, and have Arizona in my blood. Millions of others have come here by choice, and share equally in their passion about our state's beauty and bountiful opportunity.

But in the end, it's the people who make Arizona special. We are a people who still cherish the freedom and individualism that Arizona embodies. A people who are passionate about our future.

With that said, Arizona faces many challenges that must be addressed. As Mayor, I benefitted from hearing almost daily from my fellow citizens. I have valued their insights and opinions. As I seek the Governorship, I want to know what is important to you.

What do you consider the largest challenge facing the State of Arizona today? Jobs? Education? Healthcare? I want your input, so please take a brief moment to complete a short survey by clicking here.

Thank you for your time and your input.

Candidate for US Congress Andy Tobin:we're not fooled

Again the Obama Administration, Pelosi and Kirkpatrick are trying to pull the wool over the eyes of Americans and Arizonans. A RAND Corporation study finds that only 858,000 of the reported 7.1 million new ObamaCare subscribers were previously uninsured!

Despite his victory lap yesterday with Nancy Pelosi, the largest group of people ObamaCare was supposed to “help”, didn’t sign up!

Help us send a clear message to Kirkpatrick and Pelosi that Arizona will not be fooled. Please click the donate button below to send $33, $53, $93 or $2333. We need your help!

Please take a few minutes right now to donate to the campaign.

Candidate For AZ House LD 28 Shawnna Bolick Receives Endorsement from Vice Mayor of Phoenix Jim Waring

Today, I received the endorsement from Vice Mayor of Phoenix, Jim Waring.

“As a former State Senator I know how important it is to have elected officials who truly represent the people of Arizona but more importantly, listen to its citizens,” stated Waring.  “Shawnna not only has the passion to help lead Arizona, but she is a do-er who is not afraid to engage with her neighbors. I believe Shawnna is prepared to make tough decisions no matter how big the challenge.  I predict Ms. Bolick will be a linchpin in the Legislature in halting the federal government’s encroachment and I look forward to working with her to help advance sound fiscal policy that benefits all Arizonans.  These are just a few reasons why I believe she is the right person to represent Legislative District 28.”

“I am honored to have Vice Mayor Waring’s endorsement,” said Bolick.  “Jim has a strong work ethic and is a model for how elected officials need to stay actively engaged with constituents once they are elected.  Jim also hasn’t been shy in exposing government waste during his service in the State Legislature or on the Phoenix City Council.  Once I am elected, I know Jim will be a strong local government ally.  Like Jim, I look forward to regularly meeting with neighbors to discuss the current issues during my service to Arizona.”

If you live in my legislative district, and haven't signed my paper nomination form please take a moment to sign my online nominating petition by clicking here.  This is the easiest way to help me qualify for the August Republican primary ballot.  Also, please consider making a donation to my campaign today. Republican Corporation Commissioner Susan Bitter Smith Endorses Mary Hamway for the Arizona House of Representatives

Elect Mary Hamway

PHOENIX (Tuesday, April 1, 2014) – Former Vice Mayor and Councilwoman for the Town of Paradise Valley Mary Hamway announced the endorsement from Republican Corporation Commissioner Susan Bitter Smith in her bid for the Arizona House in District 28. Bitter Smith, a native Arizonan and former member of the Scottsdale City Council, was elected to the Corporation Commission in November 2012.

Bitter Smith's endorsement adds to the growing list of supporters for the Hamway campaign, which over the past 40 days has announced endorsements from eight Republican Mayors and five Republican council members.

"I have seen Mary's leadership skills not only as a Paradise Valley Town Council member, but also as a community volunteer," said Commissioner Susan Bitter Smith. "The results of those skills are visible in such successful projects as the redone municipal complex at Kiva Elementary School and a Bill Keane tribute statute available for all to enjoy. Her ability to get things done, along with her knowledge of issues vital to Arizona are the reasons I strongly support Mary's candidacy for the Arizona House of Representatives."

Commissioner Bitter Smith added, "Arizona's future is tied to sound natural resource policy and assured water supplies. One of Mary's great strengths is her unique knowledge of water and natural resource issues. This background, as well as her long record of public service, makes her uniquely qualified to serve as a member of the Arizona Legislature."

Mary Hamway concluded, "I am honored to have Commissioner Bitter Smith's support and am humbled by her kind words. I have known Susan for many years and have always admired her leadership in advancing sound public policy. As State Representative, I will focus on creating quality jobs for Arizonans, improving our education system, and making state government smaller and more efficient."

VIDEO: Franchisees & Employees Tell Their Stories

Franchisees & Employees Tell Their Stories
It takes a team to drive the kind of success we saw at Cold Stone Creamery. And I am so proud of the team we built at Cold Stone Creamery – from the headquarters staff, to the area developers who helped expand the brand throughout the country, and, most importantly, the franchisees who joined us in our goal of creating the ultimate ice cream experience.
Together, we built a company the right way – big dreams, hard work and great people. But don’t just take it from me. Today, I want to share with you a new web video featuring several of the hard-working individuals who helped make Cold Stone Creamery the Arizona (and American) success story it is today.
Like what you see? Please help me share the Cold Stone Creamery success story by posting this video on Facebook and Twitter, or forwarding this email to your friends and family.
Want to do more? Please consider making a donation to my campaign so I can share this story far and wide across the state. A donation of $5, $50 or even $150 will help me get there.

Arizona Candidate For State Treasurer Jeff DeWit Proven Record. Great Momentum.

As I’ve been traveling throughout our state, introducing myself and sharing why I truly believe I’m the best candidate to serve as Arizona’s next State Treasurer, the support I have received has been astounding and incredibly humbling.

Each and every individual I meet on the campaign trail reminds me of the reasons why I want this job – to protect and serve the future of our great state while preserving and furthering Arizona’s financial prosperity.

The primary job of the State Treasurer is to protect Arizona’s investment portfolio, worth over $12 Billion. This portfolio needs to be entrusted to a proven financial professional from the business and investment community, not a career politician. I am that proven professional.

My personal experience and professional background in the financial industry gives me a solid foundation for my duties as State Treasurer. My experience allows me to begin my first day in office with decades of proven investment results, successful corporate leadership and hard-learned lessons behind me.

My background includes:

• Investment Professional for over 20 years, one of the youngest members of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade.

• Founded a financial services firm and served as CEO from our Phoenix HQ for 14 years.

• Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance and an Accounting degree.

• Lifelong Republican; Precinct and State Committeeman in LD22.

• Married to Marina; Father of three beautiful girls and reside in the Northwest Valley.

Please visit my website at JEFFDEWIT.com to learn more about me, and be sure to follow our campaign on Facebook.com/JeffDeWitAZ - and please *LIKE* our Facebook page.

I need a minimum of approximately 6,000 signatures to be listed on the voting ballot and would be honored to have your help. Signing the online petition is very easy to do! Just grab your driver’s license and click here. I appreciate your help.

If you have any questions or comments, just ask! I’m here for you and the future of our state and hope to earn your trust (and your vote) for Arizona State Treasurer!

Looking forward to visiting with you on the campaign trail!

Marana,Arizona Mayor Ed Honea Endorses Andy Tobin For US CongressTobin

“Tobin is a battle-tested conservative hero of individual freedom…”

The wave of Pima County support continues to flood in for Andy Tobin’s congressional campaign. This week, Marana Mayor Ed Honea throws his support behind Tobin’s effort to defeat Kirkpatrick and return Arizona’s 1st Congressional District to its conservative values. Mayor Honea’s support comes the week following Marana Town Councilwoman Patti Comerford’s endorsement for Tobin's campaign.

"There is no other candidate in the race for Arizona’s 1st Congressional District that I would consider supporting," said Marana Mayor Ed Honea. "Tobin is a battle-tested conservative hero of individual freedom, job creation, economic development and 2nd Amendment rights. He has been fighting against ObamaCare since the law was first introduced. He battles for smaller government, lower taxes and balanced budgets everyday. Tobin is the reason we have concealed carry, E-Verify, and a ban on partial-birth abortion. It is for these reasons and many others that I am proudly endorsing Andy Tobin for Congress. I encourage anyone who values individual liberty and our Constitution to do the same."

"I sincerely thank Mayor Honea for his support," said Tobin. "I look forward to taking Marana’s voice to Washington and continuing the fight for Arizona’s conservative values from the first day I am elected. We have accomplished a lot in Arizona and I firmly believe that Washington will benefit from the hard work we have done here. With folks like Mayor Honea behind us, we will be unstoppable in defeating Kirkpatrick and making sure that Pelosi does not return to the Speaker’s chair."

ABOUT ANDY TOBIN:

Hugh Hallman Candidate AZ State Treasurer Great Tunes for a Great Campaign

Get Ready to Rock, Literally, For an AZ leader
Big Valley Music Names to Rock on at Scottsdale Fundraiser for the Hugh Hallman for Treasurer Campaign
(SCOTTSDALE) You can’t spell fundraising without “fun.”
And fun is on the menu the night of Thursday, April 10, when Gin Blossoms vocalist and guitarist Jesse Valenzuela, Arizona folk+rock+reggae warrior Walt Richardson, and Mark Zubia & Friends take the stage at a campaign fundraiser for Hugh Hallman. It’s a night of some of the Valley’s biggest names in music taking the stage for one of the Valley’s most respected candidates.
Valenzuela was part of the musical juggernaut that took the airwaves by siege. The Gin Blossoms, with their breakout record “New Miserable Experience” in 1992, burned up the charts for almost three years with singles “Hey Jealousy,” “Allison Road,” “Until I Fall Away,” “Mrs. Rita,” and “Found Out About You.” The album sold over four million copies. As a member of the Gin Blossoms, Valenzuela has toured the world and performed on Leno, Letterman, Saturday Night Live and at The Grammys.
Hallman and Valenzuela are lifelong friends and went to grade school and high school together.
Also entertaining the supporters will be Walt Richardson, who has shared the stage with Ziggy Marley and is a member of the Arizona Entertainment and Music Hall of Fame. And Mark Zubia, with 30 years of music experience under his belt, helped conceive the powerhouse group the Chimeras and their newest incarnation as the Pistoleros, will be joined by friends for some powerful songs.
Hallman is a candidate for Arizona State Treasurer. He is also the former Mayor of Tempe, where his mix of business expertise, community knowledge and commitment to governing the right way helped the city reverse budget deficits, improve public safety, and spark economic development.
That all lays the groundwork for Hallman to “Rock the Treasurer’s Office” – which is the theme of the April 10 music and fundraising event. It all will take place from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at The Walterdome, 6425 East Thomas Rd. in Scottsdale. Snacks and beverages will be served amid the buzz of conversation and guitar riffs.
A $25 contribution to Hallman’s campaign gets you in the door.
For more information on Hallman’s campaign, visit www.HughHallman.com.

Damien Kennedy Arizona Candidate for Congress CD 3

WATCH VIDEO
For those who don’t know me, Damien Kennedy, I was born and raised in Missouri and have lived in Arizona for over 8 years. While living in Arizona, I attended college in Phoenix and earned my college degrees (AA - visual communications and BA Multimedia/Web design).  My daughter is graduating from high school in a couple of months, and my son is currently in 4th grade in Amado.  I have served as President for our local PTO, and I have volunteered to serve as den leader for local Cub Scout Pack for the past 3 years.  My wife, Yolanda, and I have been happily married for over 10 years.
I was recently, politely asked when I was going to drop out of the Republican Primary for the Congressional District 3 seat for Congress because someone thought I could not win the nomination, and the question surprised and honestly irritated me.  However the question even made more clear who I will be representing when I am elected to Congress.
During my campaign I have often said that one of the reasons that someone should consider supporting me for Congress is because I AM one of the people that I will be representing.  I am not wealthy and never served in political office before – I’m just an average citizen who wants to serve my fellow citizens.
As an average middle class citizen, I am uniquely qualified to represent my fellow citizens – just as the founding fathers had intended from the beginning.
As a working man, I know the feelings felt by those who lose their job and the feelings felt by so many who are just getting by.
As a father, I know the concerns of the future we will leave for our children, and the desire to give our children a leg up in life through a world class education – all our children.
As a man of faith, I see the world through the eyes of a Christian who is concerned for all those who don’t really know God’s love, but recognize that God is the only one who can save them and it is not my place to judge – instead my place is to love my neighbors as I love myself.
As a college educated person, I know the concerns of those trying to repay student loans during one of the worst economies our country has ever seen, and like most, I don’t see much improvement in the job market for many people – a lot of people are hurting.
As a candidate who is walking neighborhoods, shaking hands and listening to your concerns, I vow to never give up on our campaign.  During the primary, I also vow to conduct our campaign in a way which doesn’t attack fellow Republican candidates – they are my competition, but not my foe.  If, in the end, you don’t select me as your nominee, I will urge my supporters to fully support whoever is selected to run in the general election this fall, but make no mistake, I intend that to be Damien Kennedy.
Who better to represent you than a candidate who is willing to bring my message to the public one citizen at a time?  You, as a fellow citizen, are the most important person in this campaign, because you have the power to change things in Washington DC, by letting me serve you as your Representative.  I might be an underdog in the eyes of some, but you won’t be disappointed when you let me be your Bulldog in Congress!

Shawnna Bolick Candidate For Arizona House LD28 Receives Endorsement from Barry Goldwater, Jr.

Today, I received the endorsement from former congressman and conservative leader Barry Goldwater, Jr. the son of Arizona icon Barry Goldwater.
“With so many serious challenges facing the State of Arizona, I support Shawnna Bolick for the Legislature 110%,” stated former Congressman Goldwater, Jr. “She has one of the sharpest minds of anyone I’ve met in Arizona politics. Her bold ideas in education reform and steadfast common sense are two things I admire most about Shawnna. She has the potential to help lead Arizona into a brighter future – one that is more self-reliant, and one that holds to its independent values that I love so much about this state. Shawnna’s pro-growth, free market, and fiscal conservative ideas are the ones this state needs to get our fiscal house in order. She will bring a fresh, yet bold and principled leadership the Republican Party lacks.”
“I am thrilled to have Congressman Barry Goldwater, Jr.’s endorsement,” stated Bolick. “We share many of the same conservative ideals and we both believe in public service. Goldwater has been bold and steadfast in his beliefs, and the State of Arizona can trust I will lead with a similar “Goldwater” vision. I have also tapped Barry Goldwater, Jr. to be my honorary campaign chair.”

Andy Tobin Candidate For US Congress Midnight Tonight

We have only 12 hours until the end of the first financial quarter. We must send a strong message to national Democrats that rural Arizona is committed to keeping Nancy Pelosi out of the Speaker’s Chair.

I am asking you to stand with me today by making a contribution to my campaign before midnight tonight.

An Arizona Success Story-Doug Ducey Candidate for Arizona Governor

So many of us in Arizona are from somewhere else, and we share the special experience of knowing this state is one of the best places to live in the country.

Doug Ducey Web Site
Back in 1982, my college counselor pointed at a map and said school is affordable out West and there’s a lot of opportunity.
He was right then and, 30 years later, he is still right today. Arizona is a place of great opportunity.
In 1996, I took a chance on an ice cream company called Cold Stone Creamery. Along with a few others, we took a great product, started small, and built it to more than 1400 stores operating in all 50 states. Today it’s in 25 countries around the world. It’s an American success story, and I’m proud that it all started right here in Arizona.
Here are just a few of our achievements during my time at Cold Stone Creamery:
  • Cold Stone Creamery is awarded "Best of Phoenix" for the first time in 1996
  • Nation’s Restaurant NewsGolden Chain” Award, 2006
  • #14 on Entrepreneur magazine’s 2007 “Franchise 500” list
  • Nation’s Restaurant News’s “Top 100” in 2007
We did it the right way – big dreams, hard work and great people. Things like that happen when opportunity is in the air and when a state is welcoming to free enterprise. Arizona is one of those states, and as governor, I will be committed to making it even stronger.
It didn’t happen by accident – there was lots of hard work involved – but I don't think we would have seen the same levels of success if we had started Cold Stone Creamery in another state.
Respectfully,
Doug
