THE COLLECTIONS WILL INCLUDE:


The cornerstone of the BARRY & PEGGY GOLDWATER CENTER FOR DEMOCRACY collection is a remarkable array of manuscripts and photographs. The Goldwater materials will be preserved along with countless other Arizona historical materials of importance that must be maintained and made available today and for future generations.
 
Notable 20th-century Arizona archives include:
* The Politcial Papers from Senator Barry Goldwater 
* Political Papers from Congress since statehood      
* Talley Industries history courtesy of teh Honorable Dr. Mae Sue Talley
*       Phoenix Country Day School beginnings courtesy of the
Honorable Dr. Mae Sue Talley
*       Phelps Dodge History as presented by The Denison Kitchel Family
*       Entire collection of photographs of the 1964 Presidential Campaign donated by the family of Don and Shirley Dornan, the official campaign photographer
*       Early days of Barry Goldwater History detailing his entry into politics
*       Papers of Nick Volcheff, official communications officer for the campaign
*       Plaques and Awards of Senator Goldwater
*       TV shows and film of the early Goldwater days
*       Riordan of Flagstaff – history of the first lumber yard in Coconino County
