Arizona Correctional Police Officers Association
Endorses
Mark Brnovich for Attorney
General
In offering the endorsement, Executive Director Tixoc Munoz said: “In 2010, AZCPOA supported the Democratic nominee for Attorney General. But, this year, we are proud to endorse Mark Brnovich for Arizona’s top cop. Mark has a strong background as a prosecutor at the local, state and federal level. Unlike his opponent, Mark has tried criminal cases and prosecuted violent felons. He understands the unique pressures and dangerous situations faced by correctional officers and civilian employees. We know Mark Brnovich will always have our back.”
“I’m honored to receive this endorsement from the Arizona Correctional Police Officers Association,” said Brnovich. “As a criminal prosecutor, I spent years working in the trenches with police and investigators. As the director of a law enforcement agency, I fought for pay raises for my officers, and got them new equipment when they needed it. No one will fight harder for rank-and-file police officers and first responders than I will.”
