Congressman David Schweikert (AZ-06)
The rain we saw in Maricopa County yesterday broke an 85-year record!
Because of the possible damage from all of the flooding we've seen in the last few days, I'd like to provide some information you might find useful:
If you live in a city, report your damage to your business or home to your city officials.
Find who represents you at the city level by clicking on the link for your city: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Fountain Hills, Cave Creek, Carefree, Paradise Valley, Fort McDowell, Glendale.
If you live in an unincorporated area of Maricopa County, please report your damage to the Emergency Management Office at 602-273-1411.
If you need shelter for the evening, please contact the Red Cross at 1-800-842-7349. Temporary shelters have been set up.
Please visit www.fcd.maricopa.gov for up-to date storm information.
In closing, I want to commend all of the emergency personnel who have responded selflessly.
Thank you to everyone who has ensured the safety of all of us here in Arizona.
