Our
next FHRC meeting is this Saturday,
January 21,
2017 at 9:00 a.m. The program is a Legislative
Update from our three LD 23 Legislators (Senator J. Kavanagh and
Representatives M. Ugenti-Rita and J. Lawrence) on
the goals, objectives, and committee assignment challenges for the 20171/8
Legislative Session. The
meet and greet period with coffee and breakfast snacks commences at 8:30.
Only
paid up members can vote. Dues are $20 for individuals and $30 for
families.
The election of officers for the 2017-18 term will occur at this meeting. Judge Michael Reagan will swear in the newly elected officers. The club is happy to announce that two of our members (Sheila Muehling and Yvonne Cahill) were elected to Maricopa County Republican Committee offices. Yvonne to 2nd Vice Chair and Sheila to Treasurer.
The monthly
Fountain Hills Republican Club's "GOP Social" resumes on Tuesday, January 24th at 6 p.m.
in the Fireside
Grill inside the Lexington Hotel, 12800 N Saguaro Blvd, FH 85268. The GOP
Socials are scheduled
for the 4th Tuesday of each month except November & December. These
are social events. NO Speeches,
no reservations, no host bar/drinks (with optional food) in a friendly
social atmosphere at a local bar/restaurant. Socialize
with old friends while making new friends. The Fountain
Hills Republican Club's "GOP Socials" are open to all interested persons,
membership in the FH Republican Club is not required. Everyone is
welcome, including
elected civic and party officials (and candidates for party offices).
The annual FHRC March fundraising breakfast is scheduled for Saturday,
March 18th in the FH Community Center. This has always been a great event.
Plan on attending. The superb speaker will be announced at Saturday's
meeting.
