Newly Elected AZ AG Mark Brnovich Announces Transition Team

Arizona Attorney General-elect Mark Brnovich announces his Transition Team,
 
which will assist in the orderly transfer of authority and make recommendations regarding personnel and operational matters, as necessary. The Transition Team is comprised of community leaders and some of Arizona’s premier experts in law enforcement, public policy and victim’s rights.
The Transition Team includes:
* Karrin Kunasek Taylor –
Executive Vice President, DMB Associates; attorney and former Principal, Biskind, Hunt & Taylor; former Chairwoman of the Board, Valley Partnership; member, Phoenix Suns Charities;
* Bill Montgomery –
Maricopa County Attorney; decorated military veteran; Advisory Board member, National Organization for Victim Assistance; graduate, U.S. Military Academy at West Point;
* Kurt Davis –
Founding Partner, FirstStrategic Communications & Public Affairs; former VP of Public Affairs and Marketing, NAU; former senior aide, Governor’s Office and Attorney General’s Office;
* Steve Twist –
VP and General Counsel, Services Group of America; former Chief Assistant Attorney General, Attorney General’s Office; leading national figure on victim’s rights and legislation.
“We have a big task ahead of us over the next two months,” said Attorney General-elect Brnovich. “I will be reaching out to Attorney General Horne to assure a seamless transition, and am grateful to these top-notch transition members who have agreed to give generously of their time and talent to assist in this effort. The threats to Arizona are real, and we must have an Attorney General’s Office that is ready on Day One. Arizona families deserve nothing less.”

Karrin Kunasek Taylor said she looks forward to assisting in the transition effort.

“It’s critically important that the Attorney General be surrounded by the best Arizona has to offer when it comes to prosecutors and management staff,” Kunasek Taylor said. “I am honored to participate in this effort, and look forward to working with Attorney General-elect Brnovich as we move forward.”
