U.S. House passes bill to establish House
Select Committee on Benghazi
It’s clear that Ann Kirkpatrick is not
interested in uncovering the truth about the attack on our U.S. diplomatic
compound in Benghazi on September 12, 2012. This marks Kirkpatrick’s latest vote
against the interests of her district, state and country.
Despite Kirkpatrick’s “no” vote on
Thursday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed HR 567, establishing the House Select
Committee on Benghazi. Kirkpatrick has repeatedly supported Nancy Pelosi’s
left-wing agenda to obfuscate the truth about what happened in Benghazi. It is
now clear that she is also part of the cover-up.
“The tragic 2012 attacks in Benghazi,
which led to the deaths of four Americans, cannot and will not be swept under
the rug,” said Andy Tobin. “It is critical that we pry the truth out of the
Obama Administration’s grip so that we can pinpoint the failure of leadership
and ensure that an attack like this never happens again. The American people
have a right to know what happened. We have seen nothing but dishonesty and
political spin from this Administration, further shaming the brave sacrifice
made by Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.”
Tobin Continues, “Ann Kirkpatrick has
continually voted against our seniors, our veterans and the best interest of
Arizona’s 1st Congressional District. She has gone too far with her latest vote
to aid Nancy Pelosi and the Obama Administration in their blatant cover up of
the terrorist attacks in Benghazi. It
matters how and why our diplomats were killed. I will never stop fighting
to help uncover the truth about Benghazi.”
