Thanks to all
the friends and supporters who have contributed to my campaign! Wednesday
night’s fundraiser was truly ‘like no other’. You could feel the energy and
excitement as my campaign for Secretary of State continues to grow. We had food
trucks featuring locally owned restaurants, live music from Arizona’s own School
of Rock and most importantly over 100 supporters who turned out to help our
campaign. Special thanks to former Governor of Arizona Jane Dee Hull, Hon.
Betsey Bayless and the host committee for coordinating such a wonderful
event.
My campaign
has kicked into high-gear as we approach two months until early ballots are
delivered. A week ago we filed over 8300 petition signatures to qualify for the
ballot and last night’s event was a huge step in helping us reach our
fundraising goal.
However, we
still have a high mountain to climb. The next important date for the campaign
is May 31 when campaign finance reports are due. It’s crucial we have a strong
showing on that report so voters can see the strength of our campaign and our
momentum as I continue to take my message on the road.
I am relying
on you to help us achieve our common vision for Arizona. With your continued
support we can forge ahead towards the Primary and General
elections.
