Yesterday we turned in over 12,000 nominating petition signatures from all across the state to gain a place on the ballot for secretary of state. More Arizonans signed our petition for secretary of state than any other candidate in this race. Our campaign is gaining momentum as the race heats up in advance of the primary election.
I want to thank each and every one of you that took some time out of your busy schedule to sign our petition online or helped to gather signatures. Patriotism is exemplified by those that walk their neighborhood, call voters, sign a petition, and vote.
The next milestone for our campaign is the campaign finance filing deadline - it's just one month away. Now that we’ve had the most Arizonans in this race sign our petition, we want to be the campaign with the most Arizonans pitching in to elect a secretary of state that isn’t just another career politician.

As campaign season kicks into high gear, I’ll be traveling to every corner of Arizona to propose something radical; that we should elect somebody to this office who hasn’t spent their entire life running for office.
I’ll take the skills that I’ve learned from running a business in Arizona; hard work, efficiency, and common-sense budgeting; and apply them to the challenges presented at the secretary of state’s office. Our Founders knew that expertise in governing comes from people in all walks of life and that public office shouldn’t be a person’s sole career.
